At this moment I am working on a free training for coaches – Double the Impact of your coaching business with Facebook. This training is only available in Dutch for the moment.
However, there are some great tips in the training. So I thought why not share some of those tips in the weekly video.
That’s why I have 3 ways to use Facebook as a coach for you.
- Connect with your target audience and get knowledge
- Create traffic for your website and convert to clients
- Coach via Facebook using groups and video chat
Connect with your target audience and get knowledge
Ask questions. Simple ones. One issue at a time.
You have plenty of time to get to know the fans on your page.
Are they your ideal clients? Most of them should be.
Do small surveys. One question per update.
When you ask the right questions you will get great response that will make your update more visible and you will have valuable information for your business.
Build connections. One at a time.
Create traffic for your website and convert to clients
Facebook is a great platform with lots of people on it every day, lots of people.
Your target audience is in there too, somewhere. Let’s try to use Facebook to get some traffic to your site.
Share links of articles from your Power Platform – the combination of a website and blog – on Facebook.
Some examples:
- Share new posts on your Facebook page. Share old posts.
- Share photos with a link to the post.
- Add a new angle to the post and share the link.
- Share a short video and add the link to your post.
There are all kind of ways to get people interested in you via Facebook and direct them to your Power Platform. This way they will get to know you.
Coach via Facebook using groups and video chat
For many coaches it is easy to add online tools to their coaching business. Tools to have a better coaching experience for the client.
Next to live meetings you can add virtual meetings. Of course you can use Skype for this but you can als use Facebook chat and video calling.
You will have to connect with your client via your personal account but then it easy to talk to people. Add it to your service, increase the price and you can create a nice product for your coaching business.
You can also bring your clients together in a group. Your clients are all in similar situations. Most of them love to meet people with similar issues. Since ‘everybody’ is already on Facebook, set up a group and bring them together.
When people log in Facebook they can see the latest discussions and comments in the group. Now they can comment or click Like. This keeps the group alive.
